Microsatellite tests: Intespace continues the program with Proba-V

1 m3! Is very little indeed for a satellite that will monitor the daily evolution of global vegetation.   Nevertheless, it is the future mission of Proba-V (V for "vegetation") one of the smallest satellites ever built in this domain.

Astrium carries out two satellite test campaigns at the same time at Intespace

As luck would have it, Astrium were building two large satellites - Ka-Sat and Yahsat - at virtually the same time, which led them to plan the test campaigns at the same time. Fortunately Intespace reception facilities are designed so that this organisation could be carried out.
