• Calibration of accelerometers and temperature sensors.

The specific skills of the Metrology Department Contamination applied to space test cover three areas:

• The thermo-optical, to characterize the efficiency of the satellites thermal coating.
• The contamination, which tracks the level of cleanliness of the caissons.
• The outgassing tests, that measure the amount and type of pollutant emitted by materials subjected to high temperatures under vacuum.

* The pollutants are analyzed according to four families defined by the standard ESA ECSS-Q-70 ST-05C.
